Through my six decades in music, I have had the good fortune of studying with some of the best musicians/teachers in the world. None stand out more than the great Joe Allard. Joe was one of the most important saxophone and clarinet teachers in NY (and later in Boston) from the 1950s to the 1970s. Some of his most noteworthy students include Stan Getz, Eddie Daniels, Charles Russo, Dave Liebman and Michael Brecker among many others. Get to know something about this truly great man at the Joe Allard Project.
